I have developed a friendship with Tom that I truly value, and when my computer crashed I didn’t even consider calling anyone else. He jumped right in and helped me retrieve all the data that I thought I had lost….. five years worth of pictures of my family, important banking documents, etc. He was able to purchase replacements parts at a very reasonable cost and stayed right on the phone with me till everything was back up and running. I had Tom Thelen update and "de-junk" my old computer in June. He mentioned to me that my computer was getting to the point where I would soon need a new one. It was a Dell, purchased in January 2002, so I wasn't surprised by that fact. In the month of October, I started having problems with the hard drive closing down and other issues, so I decided to have Tom come over and help me order a new Dell Inspiron and build it to my specifications. He installed it and walked me through all the new features and also helped me with my new internet service provider. I was first introduced to Tom Thelen in the late spring of 2007. In January of that year, I began my recently appointed duties as Dallas Township Clerk and had purchased a new computer & printer in December 2006.

Everything was running smoothly until it came time to print Michigan Voter ID and master cards from the Michigan Qualified Voter File (QVF), a very important function of the Clerk position. The program is such that many township clerks are required to dial into the County Clerk’s remote connection to gain access to the QVF. After several attempts failed to print the cards, I called upon various tech people, including the company where I purchased the computer and printer as well as the MIS people in the County Clerk’s office. Both attempts failed and I was left with a computer and printer that would not allow me to complete this function.

It was at this time that 17-year old Tom Thelen came into the picture. At first I thought he would be too young to figure out the problem, however, he was recommended by a local person because of his computer expertise, so I gave him a call. He listened attentively to my problem and came over immediately, ready to try and solve the problem. I am thrilled to say that within one hour I was printing Voter ID and master cards!

In short, whenever I have any computer problems or questions, Tom is the first person I will call. It is no coincidence that he has started his own business with the level of drive, intelligence and passion he has for computers. Tom knows his capabilities and I have high regard for him.

Hello,

My computer was really slow in speed and out of whack. I later learned from TechPros, LLC that all the free downloads, as well as my trying to fix the problems by clicking away, were causing it to crash all the time.

I had taken it to two other local Tech repair facilities where they really didn't know what was causing this perturbing event and after paying the bill and taking the computer home, I would have the same problem back. Now, that Mr. Thelen has done his magic it’s running fine.
